Tips on how to live in Germany, if you are American, Indonesian, Chinese, African or others.
I have been living in Germany for almost 6 years, and i am now permanent visa holder.
It means, i can live here without renewing my stay permit for specific periods.
I did always have to renew it for a few months, and it was totally annoying.
If you want to stay in Germany, first, your passport (except EU nationalities) and then you have to someone here who will sponsor you, except if you have enough money.
It means, if you want to live here, a few things you should think of:
Where will you stay.
If you have a place to stay, it is easier if someone sponsors you, it can be a company which will pay your appartment.
In my experience, living in Germany is much more easier than living in Indonesia, if you are a foreigner.
It is free and as long as you don’t make problems, also if you can talk German or write it, you will get unlimited stay permit.

I want to go back to Berlin one day. Last time I was there, the wall had only just come down, and the centre of Berlin was full of cranes. I want to see all the new buildings they have built, including the new Reichstag dome which was designed by an English man. 8)

Well, no, sometimes i don’t enjoy living in Germany =(
I can’t stand with cold weather, and individual living style. Sad though, people all around me, including my parents in law, love me dearly.

I am 17 years old and when I turn 18, I plan to live in Germany..problem is, I am lost as to where to start this process! Do I just get my regular passport and then when I get over there, tell them i would like to live there?
