German Kraut Salad Recipe

The best German kraut salad i have ever made.

Some weeks ago, i was actually confused between German kraut salad(written : “salat” in German) and saur kraut thingy, just because of the language (spelling) similarities.

Before going to work, my husband actually asked if i can make him German kraut salad, since we have a bunch of vegetables.

I knew that my boy and my little girl can’t and do not want to eat this German Kraut Salad, so i decide to make it in the afternoon, after lunch.

How does German Kraut Salad taste?

Well the one i have made today was so delicious, we say, lecker!. Even i usually do not eat sour stuff (except when i was preggy), i become to like this food today.

Not sure if the reason because i was the cook, or it has really good taste.

After work, i want him to taste my next try German kraut salad.

Because i was so satisfied with my work, i asked if he can taste it and give his honest opinion (he always is!)

He said, good. Usually when he said “good” only, then it is not that great. He said “really good” then it means it is very yummy.

However i think it was really good lol ;)

This is my German Kraut Salad recipe:

What you need:
1. White Cabbage.
2. Onions, Medium.
3. 1/2 cup of sugar.
4. 1/2 cup of vinegar.
5. 2/2 cup of Oil.
6. Tsp salt.

Cut white cabbage and the onions in shredded, very tiny and small ones.

Mix all together the rests of ingredients, and cook for a while.

When you’re done, pour this cooked dressing all over the cabbage. Wait until it is cold, then served.

The best serving time is, when you kept this German Kraut Salad longer.
