Since almost 6 years i have been living in Germany with my family, i at least should know that Bavaria is not a city here.
Many people who have mostly never been to Germany, think that Bavaria is a city. It is well-known, that Bavaria is different in Germany. They do have “difference” authorities and cultures.

Some weeks ago, i was actually confused between German kraut salad(written : “salat” in German) and saur kraut thingy, just because of the language (spelling) similarities.
Before going to work, my husband actually asked if i can make him German kraut salad, since we have a bunch of vegetables.
A part of Indonesia is suffering from Merapi explosion, Very saddening images and videos.
About 9.00 am, my mother in law called me while i was having breakfast with my youngest daughter (2 years old baby girl).
She asked if i watched the news last night on television about Merapi explosion and asked whether my family there are all ok.

Tips on how to live in Germany, if you are American, Indonesian, Chinese, African or others.
I have been living in Germany for almost 6 years, and i am now permanent visa holder.
It means, i can live here without renewing my stay permit for specific periods.
I did always have to renew it for a few months, and it was totally annoying.
Okay, the names already sound confusing. Those are German foods. Both are very sour and made from white cabbage.
I have a funny story about this. Some days ago, hubby bought cabbages and plan to make a Kraut Salat (white cabbage salad).
I was smiling to myself while I was typing the title. Because I am on my 30-ish and that’s far away from being old 
Anyway, i have stayed about 6 years in Germany, and i do not really like “cold” weather.. I hate snow, and winter, i can’t stand with it.
We have a plan that when we are old, we will go back to Indonesia and resident there. At least me and my husband, probably the kids too.
I am not sure if i can leave the kids when they are big 
but we will see if they want to come.

Indonesia has lots of very beautiful beaches, Bali and Lombok are my favourite. Oh i miss it, how you can lay and relax under the sun on very white sand. Beautiful image indeed!
Anyway if you are from other countries, you would not know how the weather there. It will be pain if you come, and plan to expect sun, but only rains will come.
I have got a really nice email on 30 September 2010, saying that I have been choosen to receive the beautiful blogger award.
My husband had a working permit in Indonesia for about 6 years. Sometimes when that working permit is over, he has to apply Social Visa so that he can stay with us, his family in Indonesia.
